Influence of Stirrup Spacing on the Strengthening and Rehabilitating of RC T-beams Using Near-Surface Mounted Carbon-Fiber-Reinforced Polymer Strips

This paper aims to investigate the effect of using different configurations near-surface mounted carbon-fiber-reinforced polymer (NSM-CFRP) strips on shear strength strengthened and rehabilitated reinforced concrete (RC) T-beams with internal stirrup spacing. The spacing was 50 150 mm. NSM-CFRP were at an inclination 45° spaced 75 A total eight beams tested in this study: two without as control for purpose comparison; three by NSM-CFRP; NSM-CFRP. experimental capacities compared theoretical values predicted ACI 440.2R-17. results indicated that use enhanced capacity all their corresponding beams. enhancements increased decrease stirrups strips. 440.2R-17 conservative predicting capacities.
